Can anybody help me find a Vagabond II or Vagabond Mini (preferred)- by Saturday?
I am a wedding photographer and I have access to a Paul Buff x1600 flash unit. I need a battery power source for this, as another photographer has reserved the one I would normally use. I have a wedding this Saturday, and I'm trying to get one, but they're hard to come by. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on even a used one? I even have a UPS shipping account with a mad discount, so if any Woot!er has an old one that they want to part with, I can pay the shipping and give a pre-paid UPS overnight label.
The website that sells these is on a 3-week shipping delay. Any faster leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

What other places have you asked around for this? There's a zillion and one crazy photographer groups on Flickr (for example). Always talking about their DLSRs or whatever they are...
No, I don't know anything about the item you're looking for, but I do know how to find people...and obscure stuff, too.
I've just looked on eBay and craigslist so far, as I'm not really part of any other community besides deals.woot. I had considered renting one for a few days, but since I plan on using it for several weddings this year, I figured I should look into buying maybe a used one.
None of my craigslist leads have been fruitful yet, and eBay's just a little expensive, although I might bite the bullet and pay it. If I don't get it, I can get by, but it would certainly make some of my pictures much better.
The Vagabond Mini seems like it would be perfect for me, but I just wouldn't get it from the company in time.
Is it possible to drag around a very long extension cord?
You can try building one: http://blog.patyuen.com/lessons/photography/powerpack/
You could also try to make do with one of these, http://californiapc.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=13050 , and hope it does not fail.
OR a company called Innovatronics makes a similar product for studio flashes. Costs more, but should definitely do what you want it to do: http://www.innovatronix.com/detailpage.asp?categoryid=42&productid=388&categoryname=Products%20and%20Services
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. After many craigslist calls, eBay evaluations, and friend phone-ins, I decided to buy the vagabond mini, which will be delivered in several weeks. To handle this weekend, I am trying out a place called lensrentals.com. I was able to rent the vagabond mini from Thursday to Monday for about $25 plus about $40 shipping, which includes return shipping. I hope that it works out - I've never used them before.
Worst case? I'll just use my flash and have my assistant hold it. Not ideal, but better than nothing.
