Self promotion on woot: okay or frowned upon?
So I've entered a vote based contest online. For the sake of not promoting myself here just yet (which I would completely understand if many people found annoying/spammy), that's all I'm going to say about it for now.
Normally, this is such a thing I'd keep to myself and my friends and hope it spreads. However, to win I need to reach far more than I could conceivably do on my own, and this is really the first contest in this vein I've ever seriously had a desire to win. Woot's really the only online community I'm a part of (because it's the best! Also I'm lazy) and I do honestly believe that some people would enjoy the end result.
That being said, would it be okay to post my vote link? Obviously not as a deal, but likely in this thread if I get enough positive feedback, or in another one for the sake of keeping things easier.
I don't really expect it to be, as noone here has any obligation to help me, but I figured it was worth a shot.

@okham: I actually bought the Ghost Pepper Chili Flakes. They're not super intense, but it's a really consistent, strong burn. I have yet to use a LOT, but they've got a satisfying kick. I do want to try those balls, though. They look good. Deadly, but good.
Also, in the interest of tooting my own horn even FURTHER, feel free to share that outside the woot community. the more the merrier!

Voted. I would have specified that you are willing to eat the CONTENTS of 150 packets of fire sauce. The way it's worded means you'll eat the packet which includes the outer container too. :)

Do you realize the #1 ranked person has 5889 Votes so far? You have 60 at the moment so there's a long way to go. Hopefully the woot community will be able to get you up the rankings.
@cengland0: Yeah, It's a long way. I feel like if I can get onto the first page or two, I'll get more attention and my numbers will go up from the site's community.
