What websites should I check out for good deals on raincoats?
Getting tired of being waterlogged at the bus stop in the Emerald City.
The family (wife and toddler) need waterproof gear because evidently if you don't go to the when it's wet, you don't go to the playground...
Why don't you go to a site such as Bing.Com or one of the other search sites for best prices?
Yeah, from some brief Googling, it seems like Amazon.com kinda just wins. I was hoping people knew of some secret special discount/closeout sites specifically for this kind of thing...
I did find this, though, which is pretty awesome: http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/df52c175-372d-42a7-a5b0-9ead64042b5d/tuffo-muddy-buddy-overalls
You might try LLBean.
It depends on what kind of quality you're looking for.
If you want a lightweight waterproof shell that you can layer if /when you need warmth - in other words outdoors-y gear - then I'd start with REI. Check the clearance section of their site. I have a really nice Marmot shell that retails for nearly $400 (I got it when a store was going out of business, and back when I used to do a lot more backpacking). I also have a couple of REI shells that run around $100. They aren't /as/ nice, but they're very good, and a great value.
Also check out www.campmor.com. they have a lot of closeouts and discontinued items, and therefore some good prices.
