I remember sitting in Waldenbooks spending a ton of time poring over each edition of Where's Waldo....but I never bought one.
It's a shame you can't read the Amazon books before you buy them.

@lumpthar: You can't read the whole book but I know there's a section on the page that says "Try it for free" and it has a big button that says "Send Sample Now." It will have a couple pages for you to look at so you can determine if you like the book before paying for the complete edition.

These books are great. I still have one from my childhood and my son likes the pictures because of all the funny stuff that's going on in them.

The books were awesome on road trips as they were hours of entertainment.
