When a woot site sells out of a variant of item, shouldn't it be crossed out on the deal page?
Looking at the cooking utensils deal, where the silicone variant sold out but the stainless set had not, it struck me that there's no way of knowing what is left until you go to try and buy.
Wouldn't it be simple and make it easier on folks if the sold out variants were simply struck-through on "Variants," and perhaps even better if a "{Variant} Sold Out" graphic was applied over the main image on top of the particular variant?
It really seems odd that which variants are sold out is not communicated well at all until you actually go to buy an item.
Great idea!
Would be helpful on shirt.woot too!
lets hope that @jumbowoot hears this plea!
And let's not worry about the extra staff time it would take!
@mommyleah: JW only has to do with the Deals side. Perhaps @inkycat will forward this on to those that have to do with the decision making on the Woot sites. Only @snapster is all powerful (albeit absent from our midst these past few months).
