Why do I feel like I'm being lied to by service@woot?
I recently ordered a TexSport picnic table and unfortunately it ended up being damaged. I quickly snapped a picture of it, sent of an email to service, and asked what could be done. I received a reply email stating that they were out of stock on the item and they would send a return shipping label and give me a full refund on return. The problem with this is that I'm almost 100% sure the item didn't sell out. Is woot being cheap not wanting to ship me another item? Out of my 207 woots and over $11,000 spent here, I've only ever had a couple issues that were dealt with immediately and properly by service@woot.
BTW, I asked if I could get a discount on the damaged item (as I was really looking forward to using this on an upcoming camping trip) and was offered a $5 credit (on an $80+$5 item). That, my deals.woot friends, is not a deal.
