What do you do with all your boxes?
I'm still getting rid of boxes and packing materials left over from Christmas gift giving. How do y'all handle the mass packaging left behind from all these great deals we have shipped to us?

We have a recycle center that we take it to.
Use them to store things in my attic. For any extra, I nest them and keep them in my basement to use for moving boxes when I move. If I get way too many, and I don't know anyone who is in the process of moving, I'll recycle them.
Some go in the recycle bin, some get used for shipping out, some get used for kids' craft projects, and the rest go in the fireplace
Burn them outside with my tree limbs and such. That's what we do in the country.
I neurotically keep them... juust in case... 8-0
my city finally started doing curb side recycling that can be mixed in one big dumpbin. and me and a few neighbors know where each other keeps the bins so on night before trash day we have asked and recieved permission to finish filling each others bins if we take it to the curb so as not to leave a surprise when the owner goes to use it next.
We have curbside recycling, so any I don't plan on reusing, I recycle.
Recycle them all the time, either by using them in the attic or bringing them to the transfer station recycling bin.
All that Texas air and those nice assorted sized boxes save me a mint in shipping costs for eBay and ETSY.
That said, it also allows me a fair amount leeway in being able to justify otherwise seemingly silly purchases.
I have been keeping a lot of them, but soon I am going to have to break down and recycle some.
They usually don't want boxes, but you local shipping place may take clean peanuts and bubble wrap. I managed a place that took them, and I would always give those folks a break on their packaging, the next time they needed it.
I use all my woot! shipping boxes when I sell stuff on ebay
Flatten and recycle.
Box Forts!
@gideonfrost: Beat me to it! lmao
save them til december and give them to my canadian friends on boxing day.
or give them to the kids to play with.
I do some ebay selling, so the small-to-midsize boxes are useful to re-use wen i ship items
I keep as many as I can until I run out of room for them (in case I need boxes for shipping, storage, and etc.), at that point I flatten and recycle the older boxes.
at one point i had woot boxes stacked from floor to ceiling in the basement, in two columns. should have taken the picture.
After the kids are done playing with them, we break them down for curbside recycling.
I put a bird on them.
Mostly I break them down, since we're fortunate to have a recycling dumpster for our building. Some I keep for shipping stuff.
Where I grew up a bit in the country burbs of Upstate NY, we would usually burn them in a firepit in the summer else in the garage woodstove in the winter.
reused for stuff sold on Ebay. I upgrade PC's all the time and auction off the old parts.
I make big fires in my back yard
recycle them
