Are you sure you provided your email for the Wootizen BOC Exchange?
Hey all. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized for a couple of days with complications regarding my terrible cold. Luckily, I am out of the hospital and can now focus long enough to continue some of the finishing touches on the exchange. First of all, let me apologize for not getting out names today as I was intending to. Names and addresses will go out tomorrow BY 5PM. Going through the spreadsheet, I noticed we still have about 10 people or so that have failed to provide information, or emails some how got lost in the vast interwebz. You are not in trouble by any means, this is just a warning that if your information is not sent before 3pm tomorrow, you will be eliminated from the exchange.
@drdulttl. @happyapple. @judurant, @coelho52872, @bkop. @mdrcoast, @plazma. @caffeine_dude, @cowboydann, @ritzter, @xarous
In the email that I will send each and everyone one of your personally you will receive the following.
Name
Address
(opt. paragraph)
If you have questions, email me!
Let me point out, that in no way did I mean to put several of you in the spotlight in a negative way. I should have emailed you days ago letting you know to make sure you have sent emails. And since this is woot, well I figured you would see the message easier here, than your email :)
Also, just FYI. We are currently at 75 BOCs to me sent which I think is pretty fantastic!
I will also take any suggestions about how to sort people and provide email addresses. Right now, I am just planning on grouping people up into pairs, keeping into consideration shipping distances to keep costs of Fedex/UPS relatively lower. However, I'm very up for other ideas!
Interwebz always be eatin' ma e-mailz!!!1
@studerc: I'm sure glad you cleared that up, negative spotlights and such. I just got done passive aggressively re-sending my email making sure to bold underline and enlarge the timestamp on my first email :3
@cowboydann: I noticed that. :) Well you are supposed to follow the rules. Rules which stated that AFTER reading the rules and regulations, THEN you send your mailing address. Not all my fault you sent it 2 weeks ago, just too eager!
Sending mine now. I was derailed by a medical issue my self and thought I'd lost my chance. If it's not too late, I'd still love to join in.
In spite of the Mayans, we are all still here. You do not need to worry about this right now. Relax, get better and enjoy Christmas. We can exchange after the first of the year. Please take your meds, go to bed and think about this later.
@maggie3052: Pfft. I'm fine. 2 days in the hospital is plenty to recover. I'm too excited for this to delay it even a few days let alone a week or more. Things will stay on schedule no worries here. :)
At least you're feeling fine! LOL! I'm glad you're at least feeling better! Amazing how something so small as a cold could have such nasty complications that it would land you in the hospital, huh!? It's why I hate colds with a passion! I usually go from cold to bronchitis, ear infection, eye infection (yea pink eye), or a sinus infection. Last year, I bypassed all those and got pneumonia instead! Weeeeee! Fortunately, it wasn't bad enough to land me in the hospital, I hate going there! Keep feeling better! I can't wait to get stuff ready to send to all my crapees!
Just an aside for CBD..
Uh, yeah, about that other package...um, ah, yeah I didn,t get your address either, @cowboydann: And that is what caused the incredibly loooong delay. But don't worry, I found a good psychic, and was able to get it that way. I am sure you will get it by presidents day at the latest. : )
@studerc: Piffle nothing! Being sick (and in the hospital!) takes surprisingly more energy to spring back from than most of us realize.
My son is in his 40's, so he's not as available for mom-lectures as he used to be, so I'm going to use you as a stand-in: get lots of rest, push fluids, take a mild analgesic if you have aches or a temperature, get lots of rest, again.
Oh my, that helps my mom-ish anxiety and concern feel ever much better! Thank you for listening; my son would thank you as well, if he knew.
@pickypickypicky: Shoot i never responded to this, Thanks a lot Miss Picky. When are we gonna do that chat you promised :P I'm feeling pretty saucy
@cowboydann: It's Ms. Picky, if you're saucy.
It'll be a few weeks, I am in sister & niece immersion, sweet!!!!
A few days before Christmas, they get a new phone book. At first the niece (7) thinks it is a gift someone sent. When mom explains what it is, instead of being disappointed, she said "I can't wait to call all of these people, and wish them Merry Christmas!"
