Has Yahoo Mail been wonky for anyone else lately?
It seems to be a Java or Flash problem (whichever one YM is based on), in my opinion. The buttons aren't exactly responsive, requiring two or three clicks to open an email/ folder. Emptying my Spam folder, for instance, takes three clicks to register and then will try to empty twice.
Both Java and Flash are up to date on my system, so I'd figure it's probably something on Yahoo's end. Is anyone else having issues?
Yes, same problems here. Starting happening some time last week, I think.
Yes, mine is definately not responding properly.
No Flash or Java... just pure HTML and Javascript. It may simply be a rendering problem with the Javascript engine your browser is using, or of course bad code. Make sure that Javascript is enabled in your browser.
I would personally stay away from Yahoo as they don't use HTTPS (secure connections) they simply send your stuff over unsecured connections.
@jyoz22: Eh. It's an old email address that pretty much every website I use is connected with. It's too much of a hassle to switch. Anything that actually contains private info or personal contacts (ie people, not mailing lists) goes to a different account. I never did notice that about Yahoo mail, though.
@thedogma: I know what you mean I have one of those old email accounts too... I don't ever use it for personal stuff though.
Mine seems to work fine but the buttons are the last to load on the page.
@90mcg112: Ya,,, same problem here exactly as the thedogma glad to know that's it's not anything on my side.
Seems like it's fixed now. It changed to a blue interface (was pink or purple before) and is running faster than it was before the glitch. Perhaps it was a server update?
Yeah, me too. I've had the same problem on two different computers. I find that the buttons do respond with one click, but it takes a while to get a response.
I 100% sure they finally fix the problem as of last night late I noticed.
