A black GT Pro Performer hidden in the shower. I loved that bike. I'm pretty sure my step father hocked it a few months later though.

Edit: runnerss up -- Super Nintendo (SNES) and Castle Greyskull.

An official Red Ryder, carbon action, 200 shot, range level, air rifle. Then I shot my eye out ;)

A Huffy Green Machine. Other kids had Big Wheels, but nobody else had a Green Machine. That thing was awesome.

Close second: Sega Master System with a half dozen games.

Nintendo 64, I can remember it like it was yesterday. It came with Mario Kart 64, and you can bet I played that from hours on end.

I dreamed of being a ballerina when I was little - my mother gave me a little black lacquer, gold-trimmed music box with a little ballerina in a pink tutu inside. She sprang up when the lid was opened, and twirled and dipped to the music, around and around. I wore it out watching her dance in her gold toe shoes. Saw one on Ebay a few years ago, exact same box, and suddenly I was 7 years old again - but I must not have been the only one who had one as a child - the bidding got outrageous and I couldn't have it. But I sure wanted it.

Nintendo 64, Jungle Edition!!!! My very first video game system! I actually still have my N64 and it works great. I just don't have the original controllers.

Here is the N64 Jungle Edition, it included Donkey Kong 64:

My first bike. Blue green, ape hanger handle bars with big long white tassles, a horn, a banana seat with glitter and sissy bar, a white wicker basket with a big pink daisy and white wall tires.

I was 7. I woke up at 3 AM and went out to see if Santa had come yet. And there it was. Love at first sight. The christmas lights on the tree surrounded it in a technicolor rainbow. I layed down on the couch and just stared at it until I feel asleep.

My original PlayStation.
2 reasons:
1. Had been wanting one for the longest time
2. My Mom got it for us for Christmas. She always let us open a present on Christmas Eve that she picked out of the pile. I open mine to find some PlayStation magazines and Final Fantasy VII, game I have been wanting for a while now. I turn to her and say "this would be awesome if I had something to play it in".
She was so embarrassed that she ruined her own surprise she just ended up giving us the system that night.

Same thing happened with my PS2. I pre-ordered it and put a sweet down on it. Went to get it from EB Games and they don't show my order or anything.
Called my Mom freaking out and she told me she went and paid it off and has it at home. I had been walking by it wrapped under the tree for days now.
She made me wait till Christmas for that one.

The best gift is really hard to choose for me.

If I had to pick one that I got a lot of use out of, I would have to say my Nintendo 64 as well. I played that thing forever.

As for when I was much younger, probably a stuffed animal (a black and white dog). I named it Fluffy. I received it when I was 3 (I think? Not positive, but around there. I'm 23 now.) and still have it. It has some additional stitching and such, but is still in one piece.
