What's your favorite Weird Al Yankovic songs?
I found a Weird Al Compilation CD set today at a yard sale, mint condition I paid 2 bucks for it!
Some of my favorite songs
My Bolongna
Amish Paradise
Eat it
Lasanga
King of Suede
there are so many!
What's your favs?
For lyrics, definitely "The complicated Song"

But this is the one I get stuck in my head most often:

Amish Paradise is my fav, Check it out:
That one where he parodies a popular song in polka form.
@dontwantaname: Damn memory, I was wrong. It was a suitcase and he had a backup player.

@whatsamattau: OMG, yes! My friend Russ, from work, was on the show that night! That is why I stayed up late to watch. Al was soooo much better than Russ was, I hardly remember what he did that night. But I clearly remember Weird Al.
I met Al in 1985. Our neighborhood was getting its very first video store and somehow they had Weird Al at the opening.
I mentioned Russ Mason and how they were on the same show. Al remembered him and asked about him.
Al was such a nice guy, I'm sure if his manager wasn't with him telling him he was running late, he would have easily gone out for coffee with us!
I have a Polaroid photo us, my husband, me and my toddler daughter with Al. It is so funny. My daughter is leaning as far away from Al as she could get while still in my arms! She was very suspicious of him.
I hope he stayed grounded, because the guy we met that day was a really down to earth, nice guy.
He looks like the type that wouldn't let fame go to his head.
Biggest ball of twine in Minnesota is one of my all time favs that nobody has mentioned yet. Huge Al fan. Been to 8 of his concerts. He is releasing a new album. Hoping for a nice parody of "Call me Maybe".
Eat It! haha
Yoda
I met him in a swamp in Dagoba. I asked his name and in a raspy voice he said, "Yoda. Y-O-D-A Yoda. Yo-yo-yo-yo-yoda."
Albuquerque and Don't Download This Song. The latter was available as a free download for a while.
I'm surprised no one else likes Yoda, which is my favorite.
OMG so much to choose from....
been a fan...pretty much my whole life.. ever since "eat it" came out when i was 4-5.
any time any song he's parodied plays on the muzak @ work, i hear the Al version in my head.
Love the Polkas, Love the "love" songs,
but @ the moment my hands down fav. is Albuquerque.
if you've not already seen it, Al has a youtube show "face to face" on the Nerdist channel you should check out. it's basically Al "interviewing" Celebrities, using out takes from press junkets.
hillarious.

No question: Weasel Stomping Day!
Mr Popeil is also a great song and it's not a parody!
I've always been partial to Smells Like Nirvana

There are many great Weird Al songs. Bedrock Anthem is definitely one of my favorites.
Nature trail to hell in 3D
Oh, and all of his songs are great, but we cant forget about how great the music videos are too!
I've forgot about some of those great songs! One of my favorites, although part of it is probably just because me and a few of my friends memorized all of the words years ago, is "Albuquerque." It's not a parody, but it's just a long, hilarious and random song.

My Top 3 Favorites
1. White and Nerdy
2. Amish Paradise
3. Eat It
Weird Al fan + Meatloaf fan = Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me
I love the video for paradise
And there is always the "grocery market grammar lesson." This is top notch.
Hands Down, "You're Pitiful."
"You're half undressed eating chips off your chest. While you're playing Halo 2. No one's classier than you."
@dontwantaname: If it's his first TV appearance, I think it was the "Tomorrow" Show? I'm almost certain it was Tom Snyder as host, and the show was on 12:30 a.m. I believe, after Johnny Carson's Tonight Show..
more for the video than the song: "Don't Download This Song" if you need the youtube code, it's zGM8PT1eAvY (and of course, his polkas, Fat, I Lost on Jeopardy, Ricky, VHF, I Love Rocky Road, Bedrock Anthem, I have to stop).

Unfortunately, there's no official video for eBay, but it is my favorite parody song.
@jsimsace: I just watched that again after not having seen it for years, thanks! I just realized that in the first scene, the two black guys in the car are Key and Peele, who now have their own TV show. And Seth Green also makes a cameo in the action figure scene.
His parody songs are great but I've always preferred his completely original songs.
My all time favorite is "Good Old Days" Its just so twisted it always makes me smile.
Everything you know is wrong
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05av9iJvgiQ
is my favorite... just perfection.
Forgot to add Christmas at Ground Zero
Being in IT "I love Its All About The Pentiums," and "The Saga Begins" came out when I was in middle school, the same time as Episode 1. All sorts of happy memories and good times there.
I like 99 out of every 100 Weird Al songs. But One More Minute says it all
@squirtle456: I've got a son that loves that one. I like so many, it's hard to choose!
I am kind of partial to "The Saga Begins..." and I am not a Star Wars fan.
All of those are great. Don't forget "Amish Paradise", "Like A Surgeon", "Smells Like Nirvana", and "Perform This Way".
@okham: I have to agree with this one. I have it as my ringtone. Pure genius, I tell you.
Eat It
Very old Weird Al are still my favorites. Solo with the Accordion....
Fatter...
"Don't you know my weight is going up, up, up, up, up
I tell you, this turkey sure is tough
Tough, tough, tough, tough, tough, tough
They got pizza on the west side
French fries up town
Corn dogs deep fried in batter
I'm fatter!"
Honorable mentions:
Another One Rides The Bus
Throw Gravy On You
I Feel Like Throwing Up
I'd have to say Trigger Happy, and basically the whole Off the Deep End album.
Another one rides the bus.
He's gonna sit near you!
I think this was the song he preformed on a late night show, sitting on the floor, playing a cardboard box.
Not 100% sure about that, it was a long time ago!
Gotta love Al!!!
I'm often partial to his unreleased, usually concert only songs. Like 'Free Delivery' and 'Laundry Day' and his theme for Home Improvement 'I'll Repair For You'
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, 'white and nerdy' is among the greatest. But they're all good.
