OY with the SCREAMING!
You can get cheap with a warranty, but it's not going to be good.
Best to go with a factory recondition, and throw in a square trade warranty. Dell or apple, depending on which way you swing.
What's with all the hate on this question? Did I miss a memo?
Now that it's edited so my ears aren't ringing (thanks, mods!) ...

Like I said, don't expect good. Yes, they're serviceable, and DFS has been quite good for all my purchases for both work and home. OTOH, the sub-$200 range are 3+ year old too, complete with all the pitfalls of less memory, storage, older OS, etc. versus a new computer. Penny-wise, pound-foolish, as they used to say.
@okham: The OP originally posted the question in ALL CAPS ... and it really didn't come out like a question but more as a demand.
have you considered an android tablet with a keyboard case? I got my China tablet and case with a squaretrade for under $200. And it runs Android 4.0 ICS, has 1Gb of ram, a good processor, nice resolution. I got the Ainol Novo7 Elf, a USB keyboard case, and Squaretrade. Might I ask why you want the warranty? Just seems weird since you are going cheap to begin with.
yeah the question and title was redone completely. i tattled on it as spam.
before: "WOULD YOU LIKE TO BUY A LAPTOP WITH WARRANTY FOR LESS THAN $200?"
me: nope
The difference between a (probably refurb) $200 laptop and a $300 laptop is HUGE. The price vs performance curve levels out very quickly around $275. This means you may still pay $200 for a Betamax-type laptop, but a 'progressive scan DVD player'-type laptop is $300. Save up or bite the bullet, it will probably gain you at least a year in future technology obsolescence. If you cannot go above $200 at all, I would look for something you can add the Squaretrade warranty to (like another poster recommended), but that will most likely put you over the $200. I'm not a fan of it, but Craigslist may have one locally for you that was only driven on Sundays to church, and you can avoid sales tax too. No warranty, but under $200.
Wherever you go, good luck!
