Yes, you are allowed... But it is up to the Staff whether or not it gets deleted...

They'll probably remove it or something. I would say it should be tattle-able, but they don't really seem to have rules on what is and isn't acceptable. There are a few things that get yanked right down, others it seems it's up to whatever mod sees it. shrug

you can tattle, or downvote, but i've never seen anything get deleted for not being a good enough deal or not being on sale. it's up to them if they do anything with it.
i see someone commented on it, that should let others know it's regular price

That's what downvotes are there for. Tattling is more a matter of removing entries due to violations or duplications. They want the "dealiness" to be democratically assessed, so tattling on it being a poor deal breaks that model, as it will preclude voting when it's removed.

It's easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission. That being said, I lean more towards the argument that @psaux presents. One person's deal is another person's daily mass-marketing email from Amazon. The community will show its consensus by voting.

Do you think that you have the right to determine what one person finds a deal, and what others don't? As a group we do that anyway. Tattling on deals you personally don't find to be a deal is, well... Douchey.

+1 to claudicina's reply. Who voted you emperor of what is allowed?

remember, if you tattle on something that doesn't get removed, it hurts YOUR reputation.

@psaux: Unrelated to topic but a Linux user are we? :)
