just type in bestbuy, no "@", then select "most recent". See if that helps. Or type it in EXACTLY (there is a space between @ and bestbuy)

If you will notice the @ sign in front of bestbuy is not red (this just means that the deal is at Best Buy). When trying to search on a tag you need to use the # before the word you are searching for. If you search using the @ sign you will be searching on a user name and I have never seen a post by @bestbuy.

when i search for "bestbuy" by itself or with a # in front of it, i still get non best buy results. for example, the 5th link down is an Amazon link. it picks up any post with the worst best and buy in them. i tried doing the same thing with a lesser used phrase. I searched for Ocheri and got zero results and i know for a fact Ocheri has posted more than zero times. I just feel like hte search function on woot is a little broad at times, and completely misses the target other times.

If I know the site that the deal came from, I always search the website name, so in this case, I'd search for bestbuy.com and after sorting it by most recent, this is what would turn up.

Also, it's ohcheri, with an h after the o. That's probably why you got no results.

ah. so the answer to my question is that i need to learn to use the search button better, as well as learn how to spell

vote-for3vote-against

@ndcouch: It's that spelling thing that tends to trip me up too.
