Challenge: French Fry Cutter
We really love French Fries in my house. We love our T-fal Actifry to make French Fries with. We would love an easy to use machine to turn those potatoes into wonderful French Fries without the hassle(not hassle just time consuming) of cutting the potatoes up by hand. I call out to all the wooters, bring unto me a French Fry cutter that works and that you love like a French Fry cutting child. Lets put a theoretical budget of $30.00, but that is flexible.

@hobbit: Have you used either of those? We used the Progressive one and it couldn't slice through a potato at all. The cutting grid wasn't even sharp.
@catbertthegreat: you didn't ask for one that I actually used. But no. I was looking for a different one. What I would look for is something that might go on a mandolin.
@hobbit: It was implied in the French Fry cutting child comment.
I have not used this, but it may fit the bill. If you go down the page a little ways:
Product # CD45856-FRENCH-FRY-CUTTER-RED
Retail Price $29.99 and up
On Sale $14.49
This stainless steel and red poly French Fry Cutter is a great value! Solid Metal Frame features a mounting hole in the bottom. It can be clamped down or you can add a screw to hold it down on your cutting board. Easily cuts up a few potatoes into French fry pieces in under a minute.
Chefs Notes: Linda: "nice little gadget, that gets the job done quickly. I have used it a lot, and it has held up well."
Is there an attachment for a food processor that makes fries?
@sgoman5674: Yes but we would have to buy a new food processor. Cuisinart changed the way they attached add-on blades
