Does anyone know where I can purchase a new Nintendo DS Lite for $125 or less?
Trying to get one for my son for Christmas and he doesn't need the camera function on the DSi or the 3D function on the 3DS, plus he can play my old games for the Game Boy Advance with the lite

The one with the starter kit is out of stock online but it might still be available at your local Target store for $119.
@discountlingeriedeals I checked the Target web-site last night and could not find one available in store anywhere near where I have family or friends who would be able to go and pick one up for me...good thought though
Walmart had them about the $100 price point too - your local store may still have one.
Hmm--looks like these are getting harder to find new, at least not without paying more than they're worth at this point. :( But I wonder if you might see some good deals come Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
One possibility is eBay. Some available for a "Buy it Now" price of around $100.
Be careful though... make certain it's listed as "New" and is the NTSC (North American) version. Also lots of Chinese knock-offs for sale. These actually do play DS games and by all accounts work pretty well, but not the same as the real thing.
@novastarj: No DS is actually "NTSC"...I'd find it odd if they're marketed that way. And the DS Lite is also not region-locked. I don't think there's any difference between the consoles between different regions, actually.
I know the 3DS is region-locked, and I suspect that the DSi was as well (although, they'll both work with out-of-region DS games).
@natedogg828: Have you looked to see if any are available at a local Gamestop? The prices there are $99 for a new one too. (Apparently, I could travel about 70 miles if I really, really want one at that price! Yay!)
As many have said, I'm thinking Target or Walmart would be your best bet :)

@natedogg828: Sorry for no reply - I have been getting things ready for a wedding and unfortunately my woot participation is lacking. I think they will have a good deal on them at a couple of places in the next couple of weeks. Were you ever able to find one?

@00000100 just saw it, already sold out by the time I saw it...anyways it was a pastel pink color and it was for my son, still looking and appreciating all the help I am getting in my search
thanks for all the help, we ended up buying a package deal for a 3DS version with Cars 2 game and carring case...maybe I can borrow it to play the new 3d Mario game
