Has anyone else had a difficult time with warranty on Vizio refurb via Woot/Moofi?
I purchased a refurbished Vizio TV via Moofi at the end of June, and the remote died (a known issue). I contacted Woot and was directed to Purrfect Refurbs, also called Amergence, to make a warranty claim. The refurb company took a week to get back to me, then after jumping through their hoops to diagnose the problem, informed me that the serial number provided was not one of theirs. In searching the box for a serial number starting with 120, I found a small piece of paper with warranty info for a DIFFERENT refurb company.
Yes, I should have found this before contacting Woot, but I did not, and now I have to start the process all over again (and the clock is ticking on my 90 days). When I tried to point out to Woot customer service that maybe I had been given the wrong info, the rep who responded didn't get it (she thought I was saying they had just given me the wrong phone number).
I just bought ANOTHER Vizio TV via Woot Plus and am just hoping there are no issues with this one.
