I've had trouble with mywoot.net the past few wootoffs. Often it hasn't updated as it should, or the text will update but not the picture or vice-versa. Doesn't seem to be as stable or reliable as it once was.

No, I'm using Chrome, seems to all right if a bit slow.

EDIT: nevermind I'm on wooters.us....

I'm using mywoot in IE and having no problems.

(I've been avoiding Firefox lately as it has become rather unstable; perhaps try a different browser?)

@baqui63: Thanks for the suggestion -- I hadn't even thought about it being a possible browser issue. I'll switch to IE.

And thanks to everyone else for answering!

@magic cave: It isn't just you. You might want to read this brief post over on Wooterville Central.

@baqui63: Just a happy follow-up: switching to IE lets me load mywoot.net just as I'm used to using it, on its own tab. Thanks again!

@magic cave:

You're welcome.

Just as a comment about browsers: while all of the mainstream ones (IE, Firefox, Chrome and, for the Mac people, Safari) tend to be mostly ok, I personally have been finding that Chrome is a better alternative to IE than Firefox. (I don't have much respect for Safari so about the only time I use it is when I'm on a Mac that still runs OS-X, which means only one of the Macs that I use.)

Also, since woot, and deals.woot in particular, use Mickysoft backends, I find that using IE gives the best user experience (eg. I don't have to refresh the page to see what I've voted for... with FF and Chrome, a refresh is needed, or at least I've never found a setting that makes them work without a refresh).

@baqui63: Thanks again for the additional information. I'm so used to FF that I tend to forget it's not the only browser around.
