Can anyone recommend an inexpensive sound bar?
I'm looking to get an inexpensive (read under $150) to get a little better sound and evenness to the sound from my also inexpensive TV. Just wondering if anyone has seen any deals on any or knows of any that they would recommend? And yes, I did see the Woot Plus deal in the Tech section.
No personal experience, but based on the reviews, this one is decent at $100.

If you're on a bigger budget, have the space, and don't mind having to hookup some components, then go separate with some bookshelf speakers and a $19 Lepai amp. $50 total using these + cables will sound much much better than the TV's built-in speakers already.
I have the Vizio one that every online outlet has for $60 refurbished and let me say it is way better than my LCD's speakers, but it is very picky. The part that holds the optical connector in broke within 2 months (more of my kids fault though) and the remote is a complete disaster, but if you don't use the remote and don't have destructive kids it works fine.
