Are you thinking of something like FedEx Un-Smart Post where it takes a minimum of a month to get to you. I am sure Woot could pitch that idea to FedEx and they may go for it.

oh... im sorry did I offend you mr. downvoter? please do tell why you downvoted and not just leave. I can see why you downvoted...kinda...but really I wanna hear!?

[edit] @flashkill: pretty much yeah... :D i mean, if you really don't need it in any specific time why not? ...other than Woot not getting $3 outta us, which is perrtty good reason anyway for them soo.... what ever

@miquinn: I don't think I would enjoy slower shipping even if I didn't need it right away. Though I liked the price of things I would buy from Meritline.com I never enjoyed the slow shipping. Every time it would take more than 3 weeks to get something I would forget about it, though it's cool to get surprises in the mail if they didn't ship it I would probably forget about. Knowing that something will take a long time to ship makes me put it out of my mind so it is easy to forget about it.

@miquinn: Is this another vote to see the ID of a downvoter, or at least an "anonymous" button along with a reason why?

@jsimsace: i actually don't care too much for the viewing of the downvoter... i just want them to speak up and lemme hear why

I am okay with $5 for things that deserve it. Obviously they have TVs and stuff that it costs them way more than $5 to ship, and then things like calendars and monkeys that are cheaper. It would be nice if the stuff that was cheaper to ship was actually cheaper for us, but I think they like to keep it simple and maybe it evens out over time.
