Did you know that you can 'look up' most of what others have posted?
So... I'm nosy. Have found that I can click on any user name & find all they've posted. Deals they voted for/against. Comments made. Questions they asked/answered & + or - votes. Paraphrasing snapster, woot.com is 'transparent'. Maybe meaning you can look up almost anything. Caveat: NOT an actual quote, just as I recall. I could be wrong...
Ever click on #1 on the Leaderboard? I have. I'm curious about the path to get there. You can see almost everything they did. Never ceases to amaze me how old (24-48 hrs.)deals posted/?'s asked are. How few there are. High votes-yes. An aside: What you cannot see is how they voted (+ or -) on other's comments/answers. Also, "awesomeness" is evasive to me. Might be others + votes on your comments/answers. Can't calculate that; it doesn't show anywhere.
Wondered if others knew this? And, if so, have you ever done it??
Tapping fingernails on desk - waiting for everyone to 1)Check out their own 2)Check the leaderboard 3) And so on.... ;-)

Yep. Been there done that.
The effect of tattles, deals, questions, and probably most things, on reputation is delayed by 30-48 hours.
If you post only quality stuff, then it takes very little to get a very good rep. If you post some quality and some mediocre stuff, you need to remember that the mediocre stuff dilutes the quality stuff. So the best thing (if you're trying to get a higher rep) is NOT to post a lot of stuff, unless it is very good.
And always remember that ones own opinion does not matter at all UNLESS the majority of the other members of deals.woot agree with it. Good and bad are defined ONLY by the community; an individual's opinion really doesn't matter (nor should it, IMHO).
@gmwhit: At least you didn't run your nails down the chalkboard while waiting for my answer. :)
Uh, what was the question? Oh yeah. I've looked at my own history. It's rather bleak, but that's okay. Green I am, green I will be, unless I turn brown. I don't post deals, so there's really not a whole lot to look at. Looking at others' histories? Nah, I don't really care about them.
I do enjoy looking at the leaderboards and also, watching the gauges. That's kinda fun.
@barnabee: No chalkboard nearby. Did break a few nails drumming on the desk. The wait was worth it, though. ...Think I need to go find a deal for fake fingernails? All you need is 1 really, really good deal - lots of + votes. Ditto a question. You'll be amazed at how quickly you become a black triangle. Also, only vote for great deals & questions. ::snicker:: As if you can recognize them. ;-)
