Get out the way, we got a Woot-Off
We're pigging out down at the Woot trough
Aint gonna stop until the Woot-Off is done

You figure you get one Woot per day
And if it's junk then that's just the way
But now an avalanche of Woots is released
And where there once was famine we feast

It's giving me an F5 complex
Refreshing just to see whats up next
Checking back to shop for what's new
I dont want it - but I hope that you do

Cause a new Item won't come on
Until all of these are gone.

My first Woot-Off as a retiree. Mixed blessing:

1.) No work , to get in the way, but

2.) No money to spend.

Well, maybe a LITTLE money to spend, and I still have a coupon to spend. Now to look for that special deal I just CAN'T resist!

I wonder if woot! will sell new miniature light sets to replace my normal sized ones I use at the office...

Hmmm.... mywoot.net doesn't seem to realize that wine.woot is having a woot-off... that's not good. Not at all.

I wish I had some woot-off lights... :(

I just checked in and realized it, but those lights are hard to see! I'm having trouble with Safari with the woot-off, but I'm exhausted and broke, so probably better I go to bed and try firefox in the morning! Of course, I'll likely miss something I might be able to afford and need or want. I need woot-offs at the beginning of the month, before all the bill collectors sneak into my mailbox.

@neuropsychosocial: I thought the proper spelling was "Woo 'toff". At least that's how I've always spelled it, until a mod changed it to the more official "Woot-off".
meh.

Either way, I'm not a fan of 'em.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
