Who makes the smallest refrigerator for an office?
Not the inefficient thermoelectric ones, but a proper, small-size fridge. Let's say cost is not a consideration, who makes a good one? Good design is a plus. EnergyStar is a plus.
This one's probably thermoelectric. But you DID ask for the SMALLEST:

It's probably not the smallest, but the one I have in my office and have seen in many other offices is a Holiday brand made by Maytag. However, I am not finding it on a search so perhaps it is discontinued. Best Buy has a 3.3cf Frigidaire.
I'm seeing a lot of results for Energy Star Haier brand units. Newegg also has an EdgeStar 3.2cu for under $250 with free shipping that's also Energy Star and has a stainless front that makes the individual fridge and freezer sections look like a shrunken version of the big boys. If we had the extra money to toss around I'd be tempted to get one for the family room.
is it safe to assume you do not want a dream-cheeky single can cooler?
I've been looking for a "medium sized" minifridge to turn into a small kegerator for my homebrew. Craigslist has tons. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding a tiny one for under $100 easily.
@omnichad: Thanks, but no, I don't want a thermoelectric one. Those are highly energy inefficient and also depends heavily on ambient temperature...
@adadavis: Brilliant. So 2.3 cu. ft. Anything out there smaller than that?
@theant: Correct! Thank you!
@adadavis: Nice. But that first reviewer worries me. "We are very happy with this product. We bought this for a small convenience refrigerator in our bathroom to hold items like coffee creamer, water, etc and it is perfect." I've never felt the need for a convenience fridge in the bathroom, and I've definitely never needed coffee creamer while in there.
@moondrake: I think in pictures, so I prefer to think of someone in the shower, holding a hot cup of coffee outside the shower curtain, occasionally putting his/her head around the curtain to take a sip. Yup. That's what I see. If you have some other explanation .. I think I'd prefer not to hear about it. I much prefer the image in my head.
And to prove that this fridge belongs in an office full of nerds, this review: "It fits perfectly under my desk and helps me to make better eating and drinking choices at arm's length." You just can't make this stuff up.
@adadavis: LoL This is turning into an incredibly "find the funniest Amazon review" post. LoL
@adadavis: My sister would live in the bathtub if she could. She's one of those candles, scented oils, rose petals and inflatable tub pillow kind of people. Sometimes I wonder if we are actually related. But I could see her wanting a fridge within arm's reach.
