Did anyone see 3 orange lights follow the same trajectory across the DC sky last night after 12AM?
We went to light some New Year's fireworks outside our northern Virginia home, and saw an orange light followed by a second one crossing the sky from west to east. A minute or so later, there was one more that followed the same trajectory. It reminded me of seeing the space station and space shuttle in orbit, but I haven't been able to find anything about it. Does anyone know what we saw?
That was me and my kitty. This is the way we welcome each new year.
OK, OK. Not.
But Happy New Year.
That could have been me. I woke up this morning with the cat hissing at me, a sore rectum and no memories of the last 24 hours.
Probably just someone firing off their remaining stock of new years fireworks.
God only knows what the NASA goofs could have doing up in Greenbelt and you've got Andrews in the other direction. Probably was the last of someone's mortar battery celebrating the new year.
Or extra-terrestrials.
It was a weather balloon
It was a space ship carrying visitors from the planet Vulcan.
"Live long and prosper."
It was Michelle Bachman and Sara Palin headed to Chik-fil-a
@jsimsace: Just what I needed this morning. :)
Those were pigs flying, much like when a bell rings an angel receives their wings, pigs fly when a politician improves society. Not sure who did what. On an unrelated note, three politicos sadly lost their lives in an auto accident at midnight Jan 1...
