When I posted my original price comparison between amazon and woot, I only included the items that were still available at home.woot (except for the grill press in which @mistamoose expressed interest). As several posters are expressing regret that items sold out from home.woot (as well as to satisfy my own curiosity), I decided to post price comparisons for the three items not included in my original post:

square grill pan: amazon $18.97 plus free shipping; woot $25 plus $5 shipping (because this is so much more expensive at woot, I triple-checked the model number to ensure I was look at the same pan on amazon)
combo cooker: amazon $34.99 plus free shipping; woot $32 plus $5 shipping
pro reversible griddle: amazon $38.97 plus free shipping; woot $28 plus $5 shipping (I believe that makes the griddle the best value from the home.woot sale)

I hope that these price comparisons are useful, especially if you're kicking yourself for missing an item during the home.woot sale.

@lavikinga: Yes, that's exactly how I felt about it all too! I saw the Dyson attachments but didn't look at them until a day or two later and by that time, they were almost all sold out - the ones that were left I already had - and they were super cheap!! I was so mad at myself!! So I now have to make myself look at each offering just to make sure I'm not missing something!!

@lmensor: Dyson attachments??? Dammit!! First I miss out on the griddle and the dutch oven and now I read that I failed to notice there were Dyson attachments. The day just keeps getting better :(

I thought about it but it wasn't enough off of amazon's price to make me jump in and get the few pieces my cast iron collection is still lacking.

Aka pieces I don't really need but want anyway.

vote-for2vote-against

No, not for me. We have everything that we need in cast iron already.

I know, I have to start looking at that stuff too, I missed some of the Lodge pieces and some of the Dyson attachments :(

The grill press (sold out) is great. I have one in storage (along with the rest of my stuff, grrrrr), but it was awesome for bacon and grilled cheese. I'll probably have to clean rust off all of my cast iron stuff when it gets out of storage, Sigh. But I saw a tip in Lifehacker that you run it through the autocleaning cycle of the oven (if you have one) and it will bake the rust off. A quick clean, reseason, and you are off.

No, didn't get anything. I'm totally bummed (well, marginally bummed) I missed the reversible griddle. I was actually looking at getting one.

@neuropsychosocial: Awesome! Thanks. I've been wanting a grill press. Maybe it'll be a Father's Day present to myself.

I highly recommend Lodge Cast Iron: made in the US and super-sturdy! However, there's no great bargains in the home.woot sale compared to amazon.
Note: all items at amazon eligible for free SuperSaver shipping:
5QT Dutch oven: amazon $34.97; woot $30.00+$5 shipping
12" skillet: amazon $20.97; woot $22.00+$5 shipping
11" round griddle: amazon $16.97; woot $16+$5 shipping (I bought at Target for $11)
10.25" skillet: amazon $16.99; woot $15.00+$5 shipping
6QT camp oven: amazon $59.88; woot $57.00+$5 shipping
square grill pan: amazon $20.99; woot $25.00+$5 shipping
The grill press that you mention is sold at at woot was selling at woot for $17+$5 shipping; it's selling at amazon for $14.97 with free SuperSaver shipping; if you want it, you should treat yourself!

If one takes advantage of the "everything you buy in one day shipped for $5" deal at woot, there are several items that are a few dollars cheaper at woot than at amazon.
