I discovered Woot on September 15, 2005 when they posted the Voq Professional Unlocked GSM Smartphone.
I believe that is the item immortalized in the Theme for Wooting Off.

December 1, 2010. I had been looking at the site for a while, but hadn't yet joined. That day was a wootoff, so I figured I'd try my hand at getting a BoC. Anyway, to answer your question, the item up first that day was a film and slide digital converter.
Joined 22 Dec 2006. A friend had told be about the site and these deals on electronics, especially 4gig Excaliber drives. Still Got them sitting on my desk.
While I don't constantly buy from Woot!, I am here EVERYDAY!

A Kindle (K2 International w/3G) - Joined on 7/1/10. Had to! Am hoping that since the Kindle Fire is being sent out, woot.com will have the 'olde' K3's to pawn off on us. Hint, hint.
7/9/2008 - Coworker sent me a link to Micro SD cards with adapters. I bought a couple to use with my phone and laptop. Not a frequent purchaser, but check the sites daily and try in vain every month for another BOC!
A Dyson vacuum cleaner for me, but I know I joined because it was also random shirt day on shirt.woot!
The site says I signed up on August 11th, 2004, when the "Samsung SSC12 Surveillance System" was being sold.
I never remember having any interest in that product, so I went back to the previous day where the "Dell 5650 6 Piece Speaker Set" was sold, which was my very first Woot!
I guess the east coast timezone difference put my join date off by one day.
Fun fact: I still use those speakers.
According to my woot history, I most likely signed up to buy my first item: a Philips Pass Though 3 Pronged Power Multiplier for 1 cent. Actually I ordered 3 for $5.03 shipped :)
The rest, as they say, was history :)

on 12/7/07 there was a woot off and the item I bought was a magnavox fm transmitter which I bought for my stepmother. It was crap but thanks to that night I joined woot and have been happy ever since.
I joined during a wootoff on 7/27/2005. I have no idea what particular item was up for sale when I joined.
I didn't wind up actually buying anything for over a year after joining, but I made several unsuccessful attempts to get a BOC in that first year.
Thursday March 22, 2007 It was a Woot-Off day....
I joined on 06/17/2009, which was the day I made my first woot! purchase.
Two Sandisk Clip 2GB MP3 Players @ $14.99 each. I got them as inexpensive mp3 players for my two oldest sons. One of them has been passed along to the third child, the other one is kicking around the house but I don't think it is functional. Maybe I should send it back to woot! to use as BOC fodder!!

I joined during a Woot-Off on 7/19/2007 but did not buy anything during this Woot-Off. In fact, I didn't buy anything from Woot until two years later. I have since made up for this obvious transgression.
I have been following woot! since late 2007 but made my first purchase [become a member] on 4/16/2008. The first item snagged was a 3M Filtrete Air Purifier (still working). My wallet has not been the same ever since. :-)

My first was 11/10/07 - a Wowwee Interactive Roboquad Robot. I remember thinking how much my son would like this for the holidays. And he did -- for that week. It's been dormant on his floor ever since.
A few days after, I got a roomba and was hooked for life. March of '08 was VTech cordless phones (still using) and on 9/24/08, my first bag of crap. There was little I could do to stay away after that :)

I joined 11.5.09, a roomba was on sale, I though on it too long and had to wait a while before it came back up at a time that I could afford it! ahhhh memories, how did I ever live without a roomba?
