Did you see the youtube video of Fedex guy yet?

A couple of days ago @misterron posted a question about delivery people,

Wow, I am seeing a new UPS commercial. It shows that video and simply says choose us because we don't do this.

I must be the only wooter who has great delivery men and women; I've never had a complaint about any of them, and most of them go out of their way to make sure parcels are tucked safely on my front screened porch.

I feel fortunate.

When and if they are absolutely sure who the guy is, they should put him in a commercial apologizing, and then make him pay for damaged items, even if the packages were covered by insurance or FedEx. Finally, if FedEx fires him, he should not be able to get a delivery job anywhere (what we used to call being black-balled)!

@dw1771: Actually I have seen a worse video of a UPS guy trowing a package over a fence and almost hitting the lady working in her garden. This was about 5 years ago

Maybe not just the delivery guys. All of the people who process a package have a change to ruin my stuff. I bought an ashtray for cigars. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, set into custom fit foam, packed in a cardboard box and that box was in a larger box with other items. When the package got to my door I heard the delivery guy walk up and ring the door bell since I was about to go out anyway. The damage must have been done before the walk to my door.

@magic cave: I have to say the same about my delivery folks. This time of year, UPS has two people in the truck around here. I've been getting 6-8 packages a day, and the woman carrying them to my porch always has a smile and a wave for me. Packages are lined up on the porch, she rings the bell, and off she goes. Getting the same great service from FedEx. I am trying to lie in wait at this point with a holiday tip for these hard workers!

I have great service here from all of the delivery companies. FedEx, UPS, and yes, even the USPS. No complaints here. I have a great letter carrier. These people are under a lot of pressure during the Christmas season (I mean the holiday season for some of you - but I won't call you names)!!
