I just got asked to be part of a zumba flash mob downtown this weekend. I feel so trendy. Have you ever been a part of one and what did you do?

I did one in college for Aprils Fool's. We mostly collected on the Mall (basically a really big yard with a long fountain) and just stopped in place wherever we were.

We did one during one of the Susan G Komen 3-Day cancer events. We had about 50+ people doing the routine, then about 25 others that just jumped in and did what we were doing. Lots of fun!!

No, but it sounds so cool. Especially if Howie Mandel was around! I've thought about trying to get one together for some occasion, but I'll leave the organizing to someone else. I'd try to join in if asked, though, as long as my body could handle it!

Yes, back in high school senior year.

It was April fools day and it didn't turn out very well.

1st fail - All the flash mob attendees gathered up behind a building for last minute info. Security had to break it up because there was too much people in one spot and it looked like there was a fight going on.

2nd fail - So the flash mob was to basically walk around the school until the signal came, and when that happened we were supposed to "freeze in place" for five minutes. Well, there happened to be some party poopers out there who heard the story. There was like five of these guys, they took their outer clothes off revealed themselves with short shorts.. busted out a Bose speaker with a song and started "grinding" to the song on all the frozen people.

Good thing I wasn't part of it though, I was upstairs taking a video of it. Edit: found it! (look for the guys in yellow) Was pretty funny though!
