@cowboydann: I got people to smell a laptop today, I really sold it by telling them they should turn up the volume, not get to close and then lean in when the sound finished, it will be faint but you should catch it.

They both said they could not smell, then I 'double checked the settings' told them that since the laptop was so old it will not be very strong. I then pushed the button for them and leaned in and said 'ah yes there it is, faint on the left side a bit off center.

One told me they could smell it, then the other did too.

The mind is a wonderful thing, but you should not trust it.
