The commercial would have been much better if it had been a bit shorter (ie. less boring) and if it hadn't shown us who was wearing the uggs until the very last scene.

Regardless, it doesn't make me want to go out and buy uggs (or even buy them from my living room). On that point alone, I'd say the commercial is a fail.
