Do you ever hold off on posting a deal due to image?
Have you ever known of a good deal, but not posted it due to how the posting might reflect on you? Perhaps something you'd be embarrassed to let people know you were aware of?
Also, I don't mean deals where you might know there's a limited quantity and don't want to get swooped before you get your own order in ...

I don't really give it any thought. I'd post a BOGO lap dance at Chippendales if I saw one. If that means some random person on the internet thinks I'm either female or gay, I won't be losing any sleep over it. Good question, though.
Embarrassed? Hmmmm Not much embarrasses me at my age. Though, most of the deals I post are innocuous items I want to (and do) purchase. Others are not. They just seem to be pretty mundane stuff that other people might want. Haven't seen/found any 'embarrassing' deals. Yet.
@rprebel: If you ever find that deal & it's close to me, I'd like to know about it. :-D ....skipping away, yelling Twofers!!
I've already blown whatever image I might have made several times over.
@klozitshoper: Blown - curious & amusing, to me, choice of words. ::snicker::
This is the internet, @psaux. It isn't like I'd post something and then go out and someone would walk up to me and say "Hey, @captainsuperdawg, you like Dragonball Z? Lame." This is the place where you're the closest to anonymous as anyone gets. No place to feel shame here. But that's just my opinion, as I have very little shame IRL.
There are some things I've found deals on that I haven't posted on deals.woot but it wasn't due to personal scruples or fear of embarrassment, but rather my interpretation of "the rules."
@captainsuperdawg: I think presuming anonymity is a bad idea. Most people divulge more than enough trivial detail about themselves as a matter of normal behavior that they can be easily identified should anyone really want to do so. (For example, if I talk about having spent a lot of time in the network security sector, and thus knowing how truly factual what I just said was, I've given away more identifying information about myself.)
Anyway, that's neither here nor there. The question was more regarding our intra-woot reputations, and I don't mean the score associated with our triangles. Personally, I'd be more worried about being embarrassed at woot than I usually am in my day-to-day life... which, in retrospect, makes me think I may need to re-evaluate my life somewhat. :P
