I've had a Plantronics headset for about 3 years now and it still works great. Granted, that may just be because I only use it for 2-3 hours a month, but then again maybe not.

@rlapid2112: I'd purposely use a headset with poor noise cancellation if I drove a convertible, just so I could give. The. Explanation. Every. Time.

I bought that Jawbone quite some time ago. I think it was just called the Jawbone 2. Just quit on me one day.

I love my Plantronics Voyager Pro.

Plantronics Voyager 510. I've had this for a year and a half and it totally rocks.

I've used a Motorola H710 for about two years, and love it. I used a previous Motorola model for about two years, until I lost it - but it worked great too. They're comfortable, good sound quality, and I've had zero problems.

I have a Jabra Bluetooth headset, I think it is 3 years old. Still works great. Noise cancelling is not so good, at least not in a convertible :-)

Which model of Jawbone? I have both a v1 and a v2, and both last and work excellent (though I prefer the v2 as I wear glasses; first one that the earloop was optional).. did you get one of the newer models?

Also have a pair of LG HBS-250 stereo headphones that work great... people have said that the earclips break, but mine have yet to show any issues at all.

I too want to know the Jawbone Model. I just recently got one and would probably tone down the abuse if it were the same one as yours.

I have a dinosaur Plantronics 220 that is a few years old, and it has never failed me. They can still be bought at a good price.

I have two Jawbones...using the current one as my daily in the office and the last version as a back-up and in the car. They've been great and held up so far.

i've been buying cheap refurbed jawbones when i see them on sale here. i got a jawbone prime for $15 with free shipping and an Icon for $20 and free shipping. so far they both have worked great with no issues. i even got pissed and hurled the prime at the wall (i was pissed at customer service, not the bluetooth). after collecting the pieces and snapping it back together it still works fine. just stock up on cheap refurbed jawbones and you'll be set. fyi, both came from bedeals.com

I've lost a few but always had great luck with the samsung WEP line. They run between 30 and 40 bucks but tigerdirect.com runs them fairly often with a rebate that drops the cost down to 5 or 10 bucks.

up the motorola 710--so popular and they are actually decent. Any in that lineup. As well the moto h17 is nice as well.
