Every year Woot! does the April Fool's Bag of Crap at changeover (whenever that might be for you). Do you think you'll snag one this year?
I don't even try. I've already gotten two bags before, I figure that I'll let other people enjoy them.

I don't want the BOC~I want the caramels they sell on wine woot~missed them last time.
Don't get me wrong: I'd love to actually buy a BOC someday after countless failures. But it's the quest that really matters. Having is, after all, not as satisfying as wanting. It is not logical but it is often true. Or, so they say.
I can't wait to see what shenanigans our Wooty friends dream up for tomorrow. The only question is, can I stay up for it? One AM really isn't late... unless you need to be up at five the next morning.

5:30 AM comes pretty early, so I will likely only be able to snag a BOC tomorrow if the hunt manages to stump everyone until about 8:00 AM.
Ive had so many April fools bags of crap. They were all very, very crappy. VERY CRAPPY.

Back in the day, if I wanted anything from woot I would beat my sister into getting it for me, but after last year's wonderful choose your own adventure April Fools I created this account, sadly though I missed the BoC last year.

I just want another Adventure game, like last year. I loved finding the glow-in-the-dark monkey and the ride in the time limo>
1AM is late. Luckily I work from home tomorrow so I can roll out of bed at 8:25 and still be on time.
Last year I got an Adventure Crap, 3 glow-in-the-dark monkeys, and a set of Woot-Off lights with a Shirt.Woot coupon.
I'll be playing again tonight.
I may just stay away from the site entirely. I certainly won't be around early on. I don't recall it being all that fun, at first. Sure, once I'd gained consciousness, and looked at the actual source for the page, it got funnier, but I think I'll be a late arrival on the scene, this year.

I managed to get on last year semi-accidentally. I don't think it'll be a problem getting one on purpose this time >:D
I've figured out the secrets of the adventure, so unless they did something different, I've got this one in the bag ...of crap.
Is this where everyone will be hanging out? I hoped at least one of these would make it to popular.
Well, I beat level 3 and they're not sold out at this level yet, still couldn't make the purchase. Good luck with this terrible game.

Got in on level two, after four years of trying this is my first bandolier of carrots! Woo!
Also hopped in on the wine.woot for two. I've purchased six or so different woot cellars offerings, and I've always loved them.
Soooooooo, I keep getting a 503 error "service unavailable" WTH @Woot! Just beef up your servers!
game now says "service unavailable" sigh.
The game is horribly designed; there are places where there isn't a way through without hitting something. And even if you do beat the level target, the game just freezes when you die after completing the required number of levels. If I had anything better to do at one in the morning I wouldn't be wasting my time on this hopeless endeavor.
Welp. Got to level 4, it took me back to level one, beat it thru level 4 and then it went back to level one again. Still can't buy. Well played Woot. Well Played.
Yeah. I got through level 4 of the game, but the servers seem to be working as well as they usually do at BoC time. Which shouldn't be surprising, but seems to add a new level of frustration anyway. [sigh]
Do we have to go to level 10 to win?

...and to top it off, sometimes the game doesn't give me the "Play again?" link after I die. Sometimes, it freezes on my death screen, reminding me of my mediocrity. Other times, it seems to allow me to post my pathetic score to facebook or twitter, but "Play Again?" is conspicuously missing. As if they want me to just give up like an ordinary man.
Well ... I ... am ... no ... ordinary ... man!
I'm guessing like some years, the issues is not as they describe. there is most likely some well hidden method to get a BOC. Read between the lines maybe?

Apparently, Amazon's buyout did nothing to Woot's servers, which seem to be, well, made from bags of crap.
The problem is not just the game - Amazon/woot are using the normal BOC picture, price, and name so that bots keep flooding the site, essentially resulting in a denial of service attack.
At least last year's April Fools Day BOC was fair because bots were too dumb to get to it.
Farthest I've got was in the middle of level 3 when I get ambushed in both paths. I've reached that point twice and it freezes. Pretty fun though, took me 1 death to figure out how to deliver BoCs to the masses, highest I got was an 8x multiplier.
In true spirit, my newborn is sitting in her swing making monkey noises... I will keep playing later today... Gotta get the little monkey asleep somehow or I will lose my sanity!
I'm having the same problems. I make it to level 3 but end up in impossible spots where there is no way around the obstacles.
Do I keep playing or give up?

For now I'm giving up... I made it to level 4 twice but both times I just got the play again button! So sad.
So, does that mean there are people who aren't getting the stupid "service unavailable" message? Tried for the past 5 minutes and nothing.

...has anyone actually got one yet...? I know it claims some users have, but I'm wondering if anyone that posts here has received one...I'm starting to get suspicious that no one gets a BoC as the April Fools joke and that woot staff are laughing at us from afar. ='(

I have gotten past level three and nothing happens...
I haven't gotten one. Game comes through every once and awhile but mostly I get the "service unavailable" message.

I got level 1 when it first hit. Got a gold buy it box,, then got a nice twitter crapola.. then made it level 2... I did that, got a gold box.. same twitter junk.... did it 3 more times to level 5 and froze up..
I think the first 3 levels are it. and that is all.. they are sold out.

The servers are clearly toasted, I would say check back in an hour or so. Or it's all luck, as I mentioned earlier this is my first successful button of catastrophe after four years of trying.
I got past level 3 and pretty far into level 4 but I got a play again with a error message...

Oh good god. I just realized I've spent 1 hour and 40 minutes trying for a BOC. Gotten past the correct level twice, and still no order screen. So... F this. I'm going to bed. Love the April FfffUuuuuu from woot.
Yeah, I made it to level 4, but the only button is 'Play Again'. There's some error line after the score, right below the post to facebook or twitter. I don't know if everyone's getting that, too. Maybe that has something to do with the buy button not showing up. The error is there every time, though, no matter how far I make it.
Many times there's just no way around the obstacles. This game is rigged.
Lame, after finally beating level 3, I wasn't able to buy a BoC...

I think it's safe to say that wasn't the PLAN, though it may be working out that way... the sales meter is stuck on a few percent of the Level 3 ones sold, and the writeup says it's supposed to go through Level 10.
Level 4 and the same "ioError bubbles" message. Don't know what's dumber... That I spent an hour of my life in a futile quest for a BoC, or that I'm trying to decide whether to continue in that quest. This is lame
So, if we just have to beat level 3 to get a level 3 Basket of Canastas, then how did I get to Level 4?

And what's with the error message? Guess I'll try again. Or maybe get some sleep?
Grrr... It won't load for me. May be because I'm on an EeePC, which may not have the required bells/whistles.
That's it, I'm done. The servers took a beating and just don't want to cooperate, which means the game won't work. And then there's the impossible obstacle portions....
