Nope, not watching a darn thing...

Yup but it looks like it's going to be rained out.

My sister and brother-in-law have an RV in the infield and badges that allowed them into the pits and walk on the track this morning. She said if she ever gets to do it again, she'll bring a sharpie and sign the white line.
Right now they are in one of the track bars waiting for the rain to stop..

Once you've watched people drive left, in a circle... you've seen people drive left, in a circle.

So, no. I won't be watching it, since I've seen it before.

@maggie3052: that's pretty exciting, not sure if Id want to be in the infield at a large track like Daytona.

@nafsllib: The only race I've "camped" is Watkins Glen. The RV was parked sideways at the end of the of 2 spots and my brother's camper was parked at the other end. They had a huge tent in the middle. Picnic tables, big TV,stereo, full bar, grill, griddle, frosty drink maker and lounge chairs under the tent between the 2 campers. There were 10 of us plus others people from our home town would come by and hang out. It was a fun 4 days. It took my liver a week to recover.

I've never been in the infield camping area.

Oh, if the race does run, I'm pulling for Jeff Burton.

No, I'm not a racing fan. It is popular in my state but I've never cared for it. Actually, Jeff Gordon's ex-wife lives less than 2 miles from me in a million dollar home. Racing was good to her... :-)

I'm a Train fan so I watched Pat Monahan sing the national anthem, then I was done :-)

@maggie3052: We may be the only 2 on here. I didn't have a chance to watch the truck race yet, so it's getting me through the rain.

I've camped at Texas a few times and am planning to again this year. I've been in the infield and watched a couple races from the infield but havn't camped there. I prefer to be in the stands where you can see the entire track.

I'm a Denny Hamlin fan and an old Bobby Labonte fan but was irritated to see him move to team Petty, now at the end of his career.

@nafsllib: I've been to Charlotte twice. Once watched from a condo (the only way to watch a race) and once from the chicken bone section (never again).

Did you see the race yesterday? Have to admit, I was not sorry to see the Busch brothers wreck. The Bodines of today.

vote-for3vote-against

Ill watch it if it comes out of Rain Delay. I dont care about the drivers talking.

vote-for4vote-against

Nope, I'm watching the Bud Shootout because we're in a holding pattern due to rain delay.

I'd rather watch grass grow.

I'm ignoring the answer above me. Yes, I'll watch the race tomorrow.

@maggie3052: your somewhat right about watching from the condo, I've watched a race from IRC driver Greg Rays condo again at Texas. It was great, but when the race started we watched from the top of the condo. That was the greatest experience i've had at a track.
I've also watched a race from the suites and been down in the pits a few times but the condo was the best experience.
