Thanks, your thoughts are appreciated. I am sandwiched between Baltimore and Harrisburg, and right now we are getting heavy winds and hard rain. They are saying it will only get worse as the evening goes on. My work was smart enough to close today, so I'm just haning out making sure the basement stays dry and everything I've secured outside stays there. If it doesn't get any worse than now, I will be very happy. Good luck to everyone else here on the east coast! Stay safe!!

Good luck, @lmensor.
I'm in Ohio, and it's been raining all day. It's supposed to continue raining until Wednesday afternoon. I can only imagine what you'll be going through.
We'll survive. Maybe with a little power outage here and there.

I'll be thinking of the rest of the east coast!

@unoriginal26: same for me in Buffalo, NY where we are supposed to start seeing the wind around 5pm...just in time for rush hour home. I hope that all of you in the path of this storm stay safe

I pray for the safety for all those affected by the hurricane in the east coast.

Thank you, I'm just west of Philadelphia and it's getting rainier & windier by the minute.
I still have power, internet and a liquor cabinet.

Here near DC it's super windy and super rainy. Hopefully everything will hold up with just moderate flooding!

@craigster38: Thanks, so far so good, but it is definitely getting stronger. I know this storm is a big one, so it does not surprise me that you are feeling it over in Ohio. Stay safe!

I just received an email that my office is closed again tomorrow, so I am thankful I don't have to worry about trying to drive down there in the morning.

@gigi889: Officially I am in Cheektowaga working in West Seneca and also hoping for day off

It was a nice clear sky (and fairly warm) here in Indiana until the early evening. I think all we're getting tonight is wind, maybe a little rain. I not complaining at all, all we're getting is the very fringe of it all.

So far so good here, holding out to see how high tide at midnight treats us. I can't tear myself away from the storm coverage watching all of my favorite places at the Shore just devastated :(

Prayers also need to be sent for the power line workers, including many who have traveled out of safe areas to assist.

hour or so outside of Philly, lots of rain, but the wind is the issue here till Tuesday night now. Probably no sleep tonight as I stay up for the just in case moment....

I'm in Central Jersey...been windy and rainy, but we only lost power for a few minutes a couple of times today. Things seem to be okay in my neck of the woods, but I haven't been outside in about a day now, so I don't know what the extent of the damage is yet. I don't plan on leaving the building until the storm is all gone.

some tree limbs down, and my house has a bit less siding on it right now, but we made it through okay in brooklyn.

About an hour north of Albany, NY here - we got nothing worth mentioning. Really, not even a bad wind/rain storm. Just a bit of rain and some windy gusts. But the pictures of Connecticut, NYC, NJ, and elsewhere are troublesome.

My area of Cheektowaga, NY fared just fine wqith a glancing blow, most if not all the schools in the Buffalo area were closed for today last night as a precaution. A few inches of rain and the winds seemed to not be as bad as predicted and not to many power outages around. Hope every one else is doing ok especially in the areas more directly impacted
