@shrdlu: The actual product I received the first time was great. I just had trouble with them removing me from their mailing list. I thought the product would be on par with the last item I ordered. It was, unfortunately, not even close to the item descriptions stated value...

@claudicina: I'm just surprised to hear that the first one went well, is all. Lots of bad reviews out there. Very few good ones.

I adore PWP, and I'm sure she helped enormously with the mailing list, but junk vendors are still junk vendors.

@claudicina: That's mostly because I didn't know this thread even existed until someone felt the need to post on another one of our sales threads (which should probably stop by the way).

We have handled each and every person's issue with the marketing emails. And honestly, we send out 1 per week. If you think that is too much, maybe online shopping isn't for you, you'll get a lot more from other places (like TigerDirect and even Apple).

If you aren't satisfied with the quality of the cases you received for $2.49, I do apologize for that. They are in fact listed on our site at $29.99 retail, because that is what their retail value is. I can't control that valuation, but I do control how much we sell them for.

The winner of the sweepstakes was notified via telephone call a few days after the final items were shipped. If that wasn't you, I apologize - better luck next time!

We do try very hard to assist each and every customer, no matter how big or small.

Don't bother replying, and I suggest you look up via google the "One Bit of the Apple" phrase, concerning adding people to mailing lists without their permission.

@iphonestore: Be thankful I don't live in the Chicago area anymore. I would have been MORE Than happy to return the crap that you have listed at $29.99 in person, and showed you how I really feel about your comments.

As far as online shopping, I have been doing it for years. I have bought items from both Tiger direct, AND Apple, and when I wanted to opt out of their emails, they either had a link to do so in the email that they sent out, or they actually responded to the email requests of the customers they "care so much about."

As far as your store... I liked the first product I received. It was worth the money. It was NOT worth the excessive emails. (And if I don't even want ONE email from you, it's considered excessive. I don't care if you only send out one a year.)

To address my commenting in your on your "deals," If I have had a bad experience or a good one with a company for that matter, I will post what I see fit to warn others about SUB-PAR service.

Furthermore, if you don't like receiving negative comments about your business, treat your customers better. I can promise you that berating them here is NOT a way to get more business.

It's not even picking on you. Search around the site. If someone posting here has an experience with a particular website and it's bad, or their product is bad, they let us know. The same way I will do when I see things posted from websites that I have had issues with.

@claudicina: I recommend against your providing anyone a phone number, even though it seems tempting. On the other hand, you are far more polite than @iphonestore deserves. I hate bullies. I really really REALLY hate them. This was a blatant attempt to silence a critic. It might not have been a very strong or effective one, but it was an attempt just the same.

@iphonestore: If you're reading this, I suggest strongly that you cut your losses, and refrain from a reply. There just isn't anything you can say that won't dig you in deeper. Also note, if for some reason you thought you could request that the question be changed, edited, removed, or whatever, that I'm happy to post an image of the current comments on some nice fun web site like imgur, and then link back. You behaved badly (in your previous reply). Expect us to not like you for a long, long time.

@shrdlu: I get the feeling you aren't aware of the complete situation. I've personally seen Claudicinia complain in many iPhonestore deals. She had one bad experience with them, and seems to have decided harassment is the proper course of action.

Keeping this in mind, I don't feel they've done anything wrong. In fact, it seems to me that they've demonstrated admirable restraint in being as polite as they have.

I bought two cases and a bag from iphonestore and everything was as described. Frankly it seems Claudicina is acting like a bully, even insinuating violence with the line 'if i lived in the chicago area I'd come down and show you how I really feel'. Grow up. If you don't like a product, return it within the 30 day refund time they offer and shop somewhere else. All you do by venting like a spoiled 15 year old on here is show your immaturity.
