What happened to my deal?
Just checked in to see if there were any new comments, and the deal isn't on the Popular tab any longer. Checked a page or two into Popular. Not there. Checked my tab, still says Popular 8 hours ago. Checked Fresh tab, and there it is on page seven. Marked as ... Popular. Wuz up wit dat?

It's the 3rd deal on the Popular page for me.
You've got to cut back on sniffing the fertilizer. I see your twitter deal too.

It did it again!! The deal was on the front page, I saw an extra comment. Comment was spam. Tattled on the spam. Checked AtW for alert on this spammer. Clicked through to see how many other deals spammer'd hit. Clicked back to front page to see if my deal had been cleaned up. My deal is gone! Checked my tab, and there is my deal. Clicked back to popular and deal is not there!!
Am I REALLY losing my mind?!?!?!
It's on page 12 of Fresh this time.
Okay, you are NOT wrong. I just took a screen shot, if someone is thinking it's only you, that shows it on page 12 of Fresh.
@shawnmiller: Perhaps there's something a bit off in the way that things are handled when they are edited to remove content by staff?
@shrdlu: Whew! Thank you for validating my sanity. Don't know that it is a tattling problem, though. Last night it just disappeared for no apparent reason, and then reappeared.

Definitely isn't an editing bug, because the Freudian Slippers had one of the spammer's comments. The spammer's comments are gone, and the slippers remain on the Popular page right where they were.
@debbiedunlap: I have seen this happen on both my deals and deals others have posted. If you go through the fresh pages, you have a pretty decent chance of seeing a deal that says it was made popular hours ago. I don't know why it does this, but it's what I've seen.
It's baaaack! Again.

What's really odd is that the tshirt deal and the slipper deal should already have been pushed off the main page. It's like everything is out of whack. I'm sure @jumbowoot et al will soon have it sorted out.

Well, I commented that this question is back on the fresh tabe now. But my comment has not showed up after waiting a couple minutes and many refreshes. @jumbowoot, I think you have bigger problems on your hands.

@reemus: Neither my Gaslight deal, or the Gaslight comment were showing up for a long time. Then I, too, noticed that the entire thread was gone from Popular. Turned off the computer, took my daughter to the dentist, came home and logged in on a different computer. Voila! It's all baaack! Again.

Now I know the Deals world is upside down. Why in the world has my gigantic bra deal gone Popular? It only has 5 votes. There's a Fresh deal on Dark Knight (not my deal) that has 7 votes, but it's not Popular?!
I'm telling you, Deals is wacked out today. Almost feels like April Fools Day all over again.
