If you mean like a deal or question that got the required number of votes to hit popular and now has fallen of the fresh page, I guess you could ask woot to move it to popular through the other section in the tattle button, but I doubt that woot will grant your request.

Threads and deals don't get bumped with activity they keep going down as they age out and I think we figured if you don't get the requisite 5-6 votes within about 8 hours it probably won't make it over to Popular.

@hobbit: It's much less than 8 hours, but depends on the other activity on the site. If the site is very active, the time to die (at which time almost no amount of voting will save it) is often less than four. This may extend some when things are quiescent.

I was talking abt deal posted few days ago which are still alive and not getting attention anymore.
Ex: Fresco taco bell deal

i think this way there is less chances of duplicate.

I think it would be helpful for dated deals. Say you post about a one day deal at a store/restaurant 3 weeks ahead. It would be nice to see it bumped back to fresh as a reminder, and to notify others who may not have seen it rather than have someone repost it and get the credit.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
