ANYBODY KNOW WHY DEALS IS RUNNING SO S L O W TODAY?

It has taken me several tries to get this question up - impossible to load links, etc. Sorry for the full caps. Wow, now I see that there have been no answers to things for nine or so hours. Guess site has been down? Sorry for a silly Question if that is so.

Could be site maintenance, could be coincidence. The question side of deals.woot gets slow every now and again.

Must be a localized issue. Deals is nice and fast over here in Kansas City.

Just posted a question - it took forever to show up. Then I was unable to edit it. Maybe it's just a bit out of sorts today. Sluggish, or something. Kinda like I'm feeling. ;-)

I noticed a bit of a delay earlier in the day, but since then have had no problems. Occasionally the refresh will take a bit longer than expected but all of the links have been working fine.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation.
