I just got the R.A.T.-9 and seeing that it was made by mad-catz (yes the company that makes horrendous knock off peripheral's) almost instantly gave me buyers remorse, seeing this mouse has tripled it... Thank goodness I am still within the 30 day return window.

@captainsuperdawg: I read it's going to be around $99. Overpriced? I guess it depends on what you think the whole package is worth. It's super customizable and has different LEDs!!! (I know, awesome right?) for different setups. I can't see myself spending that sort of cash on a mouse but I know there are guys that won't think anything of dropping $2500 on a gaming rig. What's another $100?

@samstag: Check out the RAT-9 sometime then.

Me, I'm good with a Logitech MX-518.

@rprebel: Woah, that's a crazy looking mouse!

It looks cool, but with BMW, it's probably going to be outrageously overpriced.

the "air-through ventilation system" sounds pretty cool. good for sweaty palms apparently

There's no way it's any better than a RAT-9, and the rat looks like Batman's ride. That said, I quit using a mouse last year and have no regrets. Then again, I am not a gamer.

@samstag: I disagree. I actually find the look appealing. However, given the hype (and considering the manufacturer), I'm sure the slight difference in feel and performance wouldn't justify the price tag that I assume this will have.

I can't imagine an uglier mouse. They've set the bar pretty high.

Thanks, but I'm not interested. Gaming mice are easy to find, especially here. Your example is apparently a prototype, not for sale.
