I suppose I pre-prepared myself....enough beer to saturate me through the night, yet not enough when I wake my ball-and-chain in the morning and tell her to get her a$$ up and start doing what she should have done tonight. For the record, I am not a male-chauvinist and she had planned to do a few things tonight, yet as of this post she's still not home from shopping. And that's another story there.... Happy Thanksgiving to each one of you! /rant

@jsimsace: I'm just glad my non-American wife agreed to make some bread. Good luck with the beer and wake up call.

@jsimsace: To paraphrase one James Tiberius Kirk, don't mince words jsimsace, tell us what you really think.

I haven't done anything yet, because Thanksgiving for me is on Friday. That's when everyone could all be in the same city at the same time. Tomorrow, though...tomorrow will be spent in the kitchen. Pumpkin cheesecake, banana nut bread, pumpkin bread...bake bake bake all day long.

Shhhhhh! She got home about 40 minutes ago and started baking. I'm not far from a pillow at this point. :) @rprebel: Lucky you to have an extra day to do your baking....that just gives us slackers a chance to gain a few rungs on the rep ladder! ◔_◔

Made cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin cream cheese rolls, pie crust, and peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. Actually made the cheesecake yesterday. It has been calling to me ever since.

All that's left tomorrow is cook the pie and warm up the sweet potato casserole.

Our turkey is brining. I've made chocolate mousse pie, meatball appetizer, artichoke dip, and corn casserole. All but the pie will need to be warmed up tomorrow/later today. Now I get to go to sleep for a few hours.
