Make a quilt out of Woot shirts. Much like the quilt Rue McClanahan made out of all of the shoulder pads in her costumes after The Golden Girls had ended.

i'd play some old Bone Thug and Tupac songs, grab a 40 with @carl669, and annoy teenagers with my stories about when woot was around. how i had to carry my laptop up the stairs both ways to get a signal, with nothing but aloe-infused socks on my feet

then i'd orchestrate a bunch of roombas and leakfrogs in unison song & dance and upload it on youtube hoping to break 1 million views. someone would post a bunch of meme-pun comments related to crabs, a few would downvote the video, then we'd all reminisce about the big downvoting hoopla of '11

I'd wander around aimless on the nets, confused... Yearning for another habit that satisfies the same way impulse buying on a site with a pretty cool community does.

@gatzby: Er, well I wouldn't personally do anything THAT drastic, but it would be like saying the birds would never sing again if Woot went out of business. And I would be very very sad, Woot is the online retailer I buy the most from, even more items than from Amazon. Plus, the staff are customer service for woot is the best I have ever seen in my short lifespan on this earth.

More companies should be like Woot imo. Reading the item of the day's write up always brings a laugh out of me and makes rolling out bed early in the morning totally worth it.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
