Without having to peruse the wine forum, how good is this? Like unbelievable, really good, somewhat good, etc.

I think it's still there, hidden, and yet available. Please note the first page of comments from the regulars. The CellarTracker link provided isn't going to be as helpful as it might be, since this is just now released, and not yet ready for drinking.

Here's a 2006 for better comparison.

It's much prized by a certain set. I'm in that set, although not quite as rabid as some (I bought just the two bottles). Your mileage may vary. Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.

I love the reds. Merlot and Syrah are my favorites, but Cabernet Sauvignon is right up there. I liked the Amavi, which was from Woot on October 28, 2009, if you happened to buy that one.

[Edit] Nearly forgot. This wouldn't be for drinking now. I see the drinking window's already been set over on CT, but I think even 2011 is a bit early. Perhaps 2012 or 2013.

@shrdlu: Awww man...for once I went to bed early. I wanted that one! I hope that it comes up again.

@glindagw: You are not alone in this hope. If I see it, I'll post back in this thread, but the likelihood seems small.

@catbertthegreat: You were asking earlier about Ty Caton (which I do not think is coming back). The current offering, Little Vineyards Two-Pack (2004 Cabernet Sauvignon) is even MORE worthy.

Hope you see this before that's gone too.

It came back...I was awake and I got one!

@glindagw: Yeah, I saw that when I checked on it a little while ago. I figured if it was still running, that most of you east coast folks would have had a chance at it. Wine woot has been pretty good in the woot off this time around. I truly don't care too much about most of the tech junk that gets offered on regular woot, but there have been a few wine woots that have made me pretty happy (and poorer, of course).

What the heck. It's only money.
