I've purchased undershirts from Express and they are very nice. They fit snug (a spandex cotton blend), lay nicely, and wash well. Right now they are offering them buy one at $24.90 and get a second for $9.90. Which is close to your $15 target price. I know that seems like alot, but IMO they are well worth the cost. I suggest you check them out. If you don't like them, they will take them back no questions asked.

I just wear plain ole fruit of the loom undershirts.

I find the Hanes / Fruit of the Loom shirts are too short. (I'm also 6'3", but admit I have a bit of belly my shirts need to cover.) I like the JC Penney store brand premium undershirts. They run about $20 for a three-pack. They last a long time, and don't shrink very much.

I haven't worn an undershirt since I was about 8.

@djp519: I just bought some of the JCP shirts myself, and they're $15/3. Be sure to get the cotton/poly blend, not the 100% cotton.

Do you have any USA-made Woot shirts? If so, how do those fit? They tend to be slimmer and longer than "regular" t-shirts.

You can find AA 2001 white blanks in the $6-8 range.
