What food should I send to my SIL's family (Dad died)?

Sister in laws dad died. What type of food should I have delivered? Looked at coffee cakes and brownies, anything else? Just a very small funeral~but wish to send something.

Meat/cheese trays from a deli, a couple loaves of bread and bags of chips are very helpful.

I think sandwich fixins, bread, cheese, fruit that type of thing would be best. When grieving people sometimes just need "real food". If there are kids around, kid friendly stuff like chicken nuggets/tenders are also good comfort food that sad big people can eat too.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
