Challenge - Red laser pointer needed

my boss has sent me on a quest to find a nice laser pointer. The semi reasonable ones we bought don't work. So I am allowed to go off the reservation and buy elsewhere. He really wants one that feels like a pen, that he can put in his pen pocket like a pen. That is reliable. While money is an issue I am not paying 10.00 for a lazer pointer, we already did that, sort of. We want a good quality laser pointer that he can use in meetings to point at the screen. I would like something that has a bit of a wider beam than some of them.

The best that I have personally used are built into a wireless presentation mouse, and I think there are a number of good ones out there, for the pen style see if this fits the bill:
