Point-and-shoot camera reviews
I've been looking at several deals on point-and-shoot cameras this morning, mostly Sony, Nikon and Nikon, and I'm noticing a trend in user reviews: Every camera gets mostly negative reviews. I've mentioned here before, I'm a professional photographer and just want something small to carry with me when I'm not working... but I've looked at reviews for about 20 small cameras and most people claim that all of the models I've looked at have barely produced any usable shots.
What am I not understanding... every point and shoot camera is bad?
People are always quickest to complain. Bad experiences make for angry memories. Personally, I have a Nikon that I love, but it's not new anymore. I think those little canon sureshots are pretty good if you're just looking for the quick hit-and-run stuff.
Can you post back some links of the cameras you were looking at? Links from Deals woot, I mean (of course).
In the meantime, here's this:
I have a Canon SD780 IS that I love! It is really small and takes great photos. I'd like a better zoom, but for the size of the camera I have no complaints. They are running about $200 now... I highly recommend it!
