Some people wait till Christmas eve, me, it's been up for 2 weeks.....

My wife put one up the weekend of Thanksgiving and the other one a week later.

I have been working a little along on my tree for a week and I have finally finished it besides for the topper...I still have to find the right one.... I am quite picky!! =) I decorate my tree in all vintage items.

Yes but I had to move it. It was very regal on top of my fake little fireplace in front of the window. Then kitten knocked it over. Now its on top of a high counter.

Tree went up last weekend, but it is not fully decorated yet. We unpack, unwrap, and put up some ornaments/decorations each night as a family activity. This seems to increase the anticipation up to Christmas and allows us an opportunity to spend some quality family time together.

With a teenager and a slightly younger one, that is sometimes hard to do. Hot chocolate seems to help also. :o)

Mine went up the first weekend in December. It would've been Thanksgiving weekend, but the hubs was being a grinch.

Mine went up Thanksgiving weekend, mostly to give me a place to put the gifts that were accumulating in bags in my room and presenting a security risk with the gift recipients coming to visit with their gifts a few feet away in thin plastic bags. One advantage of getting it up early is that I am enjoying really wrapping and decorating the packages one by one, which I haven't done in a long time.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
