Do you own an outdoor projection screen?
I am looking to purchase an outdoor projection screen. Does anyone have any experience with these? I would like something in the 16' range.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks
Are you looking for a permanent/semi-permanent? Or are you looking for one of those portable inflatable ones?
I am looking to throw a block party/movie night for my neighborhood. So it would be in no way permanent, but I would like to possibly use it once a year if everything works out well.
Thanks again!
I have a friend that owns an inflatable one. It's cool, but the price seems to be a little expensive to me.
I have one. It's called a wall.
Would a white sheet work?
If you don't have a wall you could attach it to, you could probably construct a frame using PVC pipe (duct tape the sheet to the frame if nothing else) for much less than the cost of an actual screen.
While in college during the 70s we projected a movie on the side of our two story house...
Worked great...
I got a manual pull-down last year and built brackets to hang it off my shed. It's a 14' diagonal, and works great.
If you go with a portable/roll down, be aware that the shipping will kill you - literally. In this case, WalMart is your friend, as they sell a LOT of screens, and will ship it to your local store for free.
