Fried catfish. I'm not catholic, but I love Lent because then everybody in town basically has an all you can eat catfish deal.

So many, from salmon, orange roughy, mackerel/horse mackerel, to Pacific saury. Simply broiled or grilled with a light sauce - deep fried or made into a maki roll - yum!

I hate this time of year because of the ubiquitous fried white fish of some kind. Salmon, though- I could eat that all the time.
